Fisher Skiff 16
Here is a truly simplified boat construction ... the FISHER SKIFF. ( like the CONSOLE SKIFF ) It's all made possible by my
revolutionary building system using an advanced approach to plywood planking development. I use
all Marine Plywood with West Systm Epoxy and Fiberglass cloth. The result is an incredibly lightweight
frameless craft that's strong, able, and pleasing to the eye.
The FISHER SKIFF's unique hull design features a hard chine, arc bottom aft for agility, stability, and
speed. Chines fade out forward for rounded side/bottom sections which form an easy riding convex "vee" entrance.
Built-in flotation chambers and the naturally bouyant wood hull gives piece of mind. Although engines up to 25
hp can be used, a 10 hp engine gives ample performance. If you want to go fishin', my FISHER SKIFF is taylor-made
for you.
The FISHER SKIFF offers a large open cockpit with ample seating. The entire craft is furnished with
West System Epoxy and Fiberglass cloth. We've done everything possible to make this design strong, simple
and inexpensive own.
And performance hasn't been short changed. The side/bottom forms a smooth entry with generous vee to provide
a smooth ride. This skiff type hull is recognized as an excellent general use type of boat.
