Gaff Rig Sloop
The sloop is a small vessel with one mast and a fore and aft rig. The
mainsail is attached to a gaff at the head and a boom at the foot and above the
gaff a topsail can be set. Before the mast on some vessels as shall be in the case
of this Gaff Rig Sloop one may find a bowsprit, with one or more jibs attached.
This fine little 19 foot daysailer, is a Stevenson's Design. She has beautiful traditional lines, a ships wheel
for easy of navigation and ample sitting room within the cockpit for the crew. The cockpit will keep
you dry comfortable all day. It has a small but very useable cabin. One or two can sleep on an over night trip.
This compact mini Yatch has features usually found only in much larger craft. A full walk-around deck., trunk cabin with berths
for two and hardtop shelter. This is one of the most comfortable boats of its size.
